Type a full expression with powers and functions, and keep a history.
A quick expression evaluator. Type an expression with +, −, ×, ÷, powers, parentheses and percentages, or functions like sqrt(), sin() and log(), and get the result instantly; press Enter to save it to a running history.
Expressions are read by a small built-in parser rather than run as code, so only math gets evaluated.
Numbers, + − * / ( ), ^ (or **) for powers and % for percent (50% is 0.5). Constants pi, e and tau, and the functions sqrt, cbrt, abs, round, floor, ceil, sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, ln, log, log2, exp, min and max.
Radians, as in most programming languages. Multiply degrees by pi / 180 first: sin(30 * pi / 180) is 0.5.
Yes. log() is base 10, ln() is the natural log and log2() is base 2.
Every calculation happens on this page, in your own browser. Your input is never sent to a server and never logged, which also means the tool keeps working when you are offline.
