About Split PDF

Split a PDF into smaller files, or pull out just the pages you need. Open a PDF and every page appears as a thumbnail. In Extract pages mode, click pages to select them (Shift-click selects a run) or type ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10; the selection and the text stay in sync, and the chosen pages download as one new PDF.

Two other modes break the whole file apart: Every page saves each page as its own PDF, and Every N pages cuts the document into chunks of the size you choose. When that makes more than one file, they download together as a single .zip. Output files are named after the original, such as report-pages-1-3.pdf or report-page-04.pdf. The PDF is processed on your device and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?

Choose Extract pages, then click the pages you want or type them as ranges, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. A range can also be open-ended: 8- means page 8 to the end. Click Extract to download those pages as one PDF.

Can I split a PDF into single pages?

Yes. Choose Every page and every page becomes its own PDF, named with its page number and downloaded together in one .zip file.

Does extracting pages reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, not re-rendered or recompressed, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and split in your browser, which is why it is safe to use on contracts, IDs and financial documents.

Is it private?

Every calculation happens on this page, in your own browser. Your input is never sent to a server and never logged, which also means the tool keeps working when you are offline.
